Our midwifery services can be provided in a number of ways to give women choice and the most appropriate care. We work collaboratively with midwives and doctors working closely together.
For women who are not high risk the choices range from:
• A small team of midwives providing your maternity care with 1- 2 supported visits with the obstetricians • Dedicated midwives in the antenatal clinics from Monday to Friday • Midwife care in either of the two satellite clinics in the community
The Yarra, Waterdale and Plenty team midwives also work out of the Well Women’s Clinic in Ivanhoe with Yarra and Plenty offering evening clinics for your convenience.
