Visitors are welcome at Mercy Hospital for Women.

We ask all visitors to respect visiting hours to give mothers and babies time to rest, to give all new mothers and fathers time to bond with their baby and spend time as a family; and to give our midwives time to provide care and education. We also ask that everyone respects other people on the ward. 
 

   Visiting Hours

The main entrance to the hospital opens at 6.00am and closes at 9.30pm.

Outside of these hours you can use the Mercy Hospital for Women emergency entrance in Burgundy Street.

Neonatal Special Care Nurseries: Parents can visit anytime. Family and friends can visit from 10.00am - 10.00pm.
Ante/Postnatal Ward: Partners and children are able to visit any time from 8.00am - 9.30pm. Family and friends may visit between 2.00pm - 4.00pm and 6.00 - 8.00pm.
Inpatient Gynaecology Ward: Family and friends may visit daily between 2:00pm - 3.30pm and 6.30pm - 8.00pm.
