Developmental care round includes all babies born under 30 weeks gestation. It aims to promote parent/baby bonding, normal behaviour patterns and feeding regimes. This is very important for parents and their babies who have been sick in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU).

The developmental Care round is vital in providing parent education and assists in babies reaching their developmental milestones. This round occurs weekly in the nursery and involves a multidisciplinary team.
