Mercy Mental Health is made up of a number of treating teams who provide specialist assessment, treatment and ongoing care to people who have serious mental health problems. They also give support and advice to families and carers.

All services offered by Mercy Mental Health are tailored to people aged between 16 and 65, and include a range of acute and community based programs across sites at Footscray, Werribee and Wyndham. Enhanced crisis support services are offered at Werribee Mercy Hospital and Western Hospital Emergency Departments. The service also operates one of Victoria's three specialist mother and baby units for women suffering from postnatal depression and psychosis.
