Mercy Health will take part in an Australian College of Nursing (ACN) event showcasing all it has to offer to the industry. The 2016 ACN Nursing and Health Expo will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday 16 April.
Representatives from Mercy Mental Health, Mercy Hospital for Women, Werribee Mercy Hospital, Mercy Palliative Care, Mercy Home & Community Care and Mercy Health Aged Care will attend the event to answer questions about careers within the organisation. The expo aims to profile the health and nursing professions, promote recruitment within the workforce and encourage school leavers to consider these industries as a career choice.
Interview skills, resume management and career opportunities for graduate nurses will also be covered in educational seminars throughout the day. The Nursing and Health Expo was established in 1999 and is the only event specifically dedicated to enhancing the profile of nursing as a profession and promoting the recruitment and retention of the nursing workforce.
The event will run between 8.30am and 2.30pm. Details: http://www.acn.edu.au/acn-nursing-and-health-expo-melbourne
