    • This includes:

      • * providing direct support to patients and families
        * reviewing hospital policies and procedures to improve access to services and quality of care
        * enhancing the cultural appropriateness of care through providing information, education, and consultation to hospital staff regarding   the needs of Aboriginal patients
        * maintaining a positive relationship with the Aboriginal community, including Aboriginal organisations.
