• This type of care is for women who have uncomplicated pregnancies.
  •
  • Most of your pregnancy care will be provided by midwives at the Mercy Hospital for Women’s Outpatients Department.
  •
  • Mercy Hospital for Women midwives work closely with medical and allied health staff to ensure that you receive the best and most appropriate care. This type of care offers morning and afternoon clinics.
  •
  • During the birth of your baby, you will be attended by our birthing suite midwives. You can expect to stay in hospital for two nights if you have a normal birth and three if you require a caesarean. A midwife from our home visiting team will see you at home to continue your care.
