Welcome to the Special Care Nursery at Mercy Hospital for Women. Our nursery cares for over a thousand sick and premature babies each year. We believe in family centred care and work together with parents to provide the best possible care for your baby.
Your baby has been admitted to the
Special Care Nursery for specialist care and observation. We recognise that this may be a stressful time for you and your family. We encourage you to participate as much as possible in the care and management of your baby. Midwives and nurses will guide and support you throughout this process.
If you have questions or concerns about your baby, please contact us at any time. Our team will assist you in any way we can. Please be aware, we are unable to give details about babies to anyone other than their parents.
