Mental Health Assessments

  • Our Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (CATT) provides short term treatment and advice to people who are in psychiatric crisis.
  •
  • The team is made up of nurses, doctors, social workers and a psychiatrist who can support people while they are unwell. They also assess people for suitability for admission to hospital.
  •
  • The team mainly looks after people aged between 17 and 64 who live in the Wyndham, Hobsons Bay and Maribyrnong area.

Visits and assessments are usually done at home. Sometimes a review will be done at one of our clinics.

If a clinic review is required, the CATT team will give you the appropriate details.
