Travel Assistance: Country patients may be eligible for travel and accommodation reimbursement under various assistance schemes.

• The VPTAS Scheme provides partial reimbursement to assist rural and remote Victorians with travel and accommodation costs incurred when travelling more than 100 kilometres (one way) for specialist medical treatment. To be eligible you must reside in a Victorian Department of Human Services rural region.
