On Monday 28 October, Mercy Place Parkville residents, their families, staff and guests gathered together to celebrate Mercy Place Parkville’s 10-year anniversary.
Independent living units residents participated in Mass led by Fr Michael Elligate, and then reminisced in a special morning tea with Group CEO Adj Prof Stephen Cornelissen and Acting Chief Executive Residential Aged and Home Care Services Stephen Tiley.
Mercy Place Parkville resident Mrs Marie Burke cut the ribbon with Adj Prof Stephen Cornelissen to officially open the café. Guests then enjoyed a special anniversary cake.
Further celebrations were held at the home during the week.
