Do you have any unused disposable nappies that your baby has grown out of? The Nappy Collective is your chance to give back and support families who might be going through a hard time.
Mercy Health, through its Home & Community Care offices and Public Hospitals, is proud to be participating in the May Nappy Collective (May 6 – 20) to support women and babies in need.
The Nappy Collective started via Facebook in October 2013 and has spread to 39 towns and cities across Australia, collecting more than 730 thousand nappies. All of the donated nappies have been/ or will be redistributed to organisations that support families in crisis or in need.
The community is encouraged to get behind this important initiative and drop any unused disposable nappies at the following collection points:
- Mercy Health Home & Community Care Geelong, Suites 12-15, 240 Pakington St, Geelong West
- Mercy Health Home & Community Care Canberra, Suite 2E, 46-50 Hibberson Street, Australian Capital Territory
- Werribee Mercy Hospital, maternity unit, 300-310 Princes Highway, Werribee
- Mercy Hospital for Women, level 1 reception, 163 Studley Road, Heidelberg.
Please note; the Nappy Collective does not accept cloth nappies as these are not practical for the families they assist.
