The latest in aged care living will be showcased to the public at Mercy Place Montrose this coming Saturday, 6 April, 2019.

Designed to provide privacy and comfort of familiar home spaces, each of the 12 small households features open-plan living and dining areas, including a modern kitchen and
laundry. The homes also comprise high quality furniture, a private bedroom and ensuite, built-in wardrobes, 40-inch smart TVs and individual heating/cooling systems.

Service Manager June Murrowood said Mercy Health was also excited to show off an accompanying new community precinct which includes a café, grocer, gymnasium, chapel,
library and other excellent facilities. She said the style of living promoted choice and independence for occupants.

The first of the two showings for existing residents and their families is from 10-12 noon, while the general public is welcome from noon until 4pm.

Mercy Health has small household living homes in other locations including Edgewater and Claremont in Western Australia and Ballarat in Victoria, with further developments planned for the
future.
