Mercy Health offers an excellent and flexible salary packaging program to all employees, including casual, part-time and full-time employees. The program is subject to capping limits only available for public health and ‘not for profit’, benevolent institutions. It works by reducing employee income tax payments and increasing their take-home salary.
Salary packaging items include:
- home mortgage and personal loan repayments
- rental payments
- credit card repayments
- private health insurance
- voluntary HELP repayments or your children’s school fees
- meals and entertainment.
In addition to the list above, employees can salary package certain benefits over and above the legislated capping limit. These include dining out expenses (meals and entertainment), additional superannuation contributions, laptop computers and professional memberships and subscriptions.
Novated Leasing is also offered to eligible employees.
…and more! Mercy Health offers discounts or periodic offers to employees for a number of services including health, travel, shopping, technology and finance.
